Then visiting the wonderful palm grove near Zagora, the largest oasis in Morocco, before returning to Agadir via Ouarzazate.
We start the first day of the tour from The beautiful coastal town of Agadir, heading to the touristic village of Tafraout. The road takes us through Ait baha, where we will visit the beautiful Kasbah of Tizourgane. A Kasbah that demonstrates the awesome architecture of berber people and their war strategies because the Kasbah has a wide view on the whole valley preventing any sudden attacks or sneaky enemies. We will spend the night in Tafraout
During the second day, we will have plenty of time to visit the village of Tafraout, a small village of less than 5,000 inhabitants, with a remarkable geographical position in the heart of mountainous chain of the Anti-Atlas. The valley itself is filled with kasbahs, ancient rock carvings and ancient berber architecture. You might also encounter ancient irrigation systems and former olive oil mills..
In the third day, we will leave Tafraout behind, and head for Tata. On the road, you will see almost a continuous line of berber villages with beautiful kasbahs and rocky houses and small oases here and there.
Leaving Tata in the morning and heading to and interesting destination : The dunes of chegaga, through Foumzguid. These are the most beautiful dunes and desert of Morocco, even though Merzouga is more famous, but Erg Chegaga is a really wild desert far from any civilisation. You can ride the camels, and play sandboarding on the huge dunes that rise high in the sky reaching sometimes 300 meters.
On the fifth day, we leave the beautiful dunes of Erg Chegaga and go back to the towns and cities starting with M’hamid, the nearest town and the last one on the paved road. Then continue to Zagora through a wonderful valley and oasis with an immense palm grove.
